Introducing Bronte
Jan. 22nd, 2023 12:02 pmHello, I'm Bronte (she/her), I'm a 38 year old queer woman who loves Greek mythology, paganism, art, geography, history, athletics, reading, and witchcraft. I live in Bedfordshire with my girlfriend Eloise and our ever-growing collection of fostered and adopted cats.
I have fibromyalgia, have great fun with chronic pain, struggle with mental health issues and I'm neurodivergent. But despite I'm also annoying positive and cheerful, a bleeding heart liberal and a wiccan.
Ancient Greece & Greek mythology has been a special interest of mine since I was a child, I fell in love with the stories of the Olympians the first time I heard them. Aphrodite and Dionysus are among my home deities. I absolutely loveanymost media that features the myths, and I would say my favourites are the Odyssey, the labours of Heracles and Jason and the Argonauts. I love all things around Percy Jackson and I'm really excited for the series.
I enjoy playing the Assassin's Creed game series and want to play Hades - for kind of obvious reasons!
I love watching athletics. Baking bread soothes my soul, and it's super tasty, I mean who doesn't love freshly baked bread? I'd love to try making my own cheese. I am a caffeine junkie, I love cuddling and soft fluffy things, and own many blankets, stuffed animals, pillows, cushions etc. I have fairy lights hanging everywhere. I love wandering around graveyards, forests and beaches, and watching the clouds go by. And a good storm is one of my favourite things in the world.
